Nuclear Medicine

The Nuclear Medicine Service provides physiologic imaging of any body system using radioactive tracers. The most common procedure is a bone scan to
evaluate tumors in the skeleton.
Therapeutic procedures are also performed, such as Iodine Therapy for hyperthyroid cats.
