Pharmacy

The VTH Pharmacy is just like the pharmacy where you get your prescriptions filled. It is a state-registered pharmacy staffed by licensed pharmacists. Our pharmacists went to the same pharmacy schools as human pharmacists and then specialized in drugs and medications for animal use.
VTH pharmacists often compound unique preparations required for animals with cancer or allergies. They are a source of veterinary drug information for animal health providers, and assist clients who have questions regarding their animal’s medications. All drugs dispensed or administered from the VTH Pharmacy can only be done so per a signed prescription request from a licensed veterinarian.
