Center for Companion Animal Studies |
|
Kenneth W. Smith Professorship |
The "Center" is involved with many different clinical studies involving client-owned pets. In each of the studies, the primary goal is to help the pet and all clinically ill animals get treated with standard of care protocols. Another benefit of studies of this type is to provide financial support to the pet's owner. A secondary, but very important benefit, is the collection of data that will ultimately help other animals with similar diseases. Please select any of the listed icons to learn more information about the studies. "Cyclosporine and infectious disease" "Treatment of bartonellosis and hemoplasmosis" "Association between vaccination and azotemia in cats" "Effect of blood borne infections on anti-erythrocyte antibodies in dogs"
