PVM Student Projects

The Center for Companion Animal Studies coordinates the PVM Student Grant program. The monies used to fund the grants were given by a number of corporate sponsors, including Bayer Animal Health, Fort Dodge Animal Health, HESKA Corporation, Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Merial Limited, Nestle Purina Pet Care, Pfizer Animal Health, and Veterinary Centers of America. The donations are unrestricted and so any research project is potentially fundable. Each proposal should include a PVM student as a coinvestigator; it is expected that this person will be the primary author or coauthor on any resultant publication. It is expected that the completion of these projects will stimulate student interest in clinical projects and hopefully will improve the students' chances of matching in internships and residencies in the future. Please follow the instructions on the PDF if you would like to submit a grant for consideration. The deadline is March 3, 2008.
