The Animal Heart Center is building partnerships to enhance service, research, outreach, and teaching. As an individual, you have the power to make a difference in these efforts.
Less than 15% of the operating costs of the Center are funded through state support, the remaining expenses are earned through hospital fees for service, research grants, and through the generosity of private gifts. Every dollar goes a long way toward improving care for today's patients and supporting research to help tomorrow's patients. Give now online.
Project CARE. is a grass roots campaign to end mitral valve disease in dogs and humans. Project CARE is 100% funded by donations from individuals, granting agencies, and corporations. As an individual, you can support this important effort.
The Heart to Heart Pet-a-Rama is a 2-mile fundraising walk in the park hosted each year in Phoenix, Arizona to benefit cardiology research at CSU. The more money you raise, the cooler the prizes you’ll get and the more animals you’ll help! Ask neighbors, friends, co-workers and family members to sponsor you. Bring your dog (or not), take a walk in the park to save a heart, and get set for the best day you and your furry companion have had in a long time! ! Everyone will have fun and save lives at the same time!
Don't live near Phoenix? Host your own event. Contact Paul.Maffey@Colostate.edu.
Make your sponsorship contributions go even further by talking to your employer about the Matching Gifts Programs at your office. Many companies will match charitable donations by their employees.
Invest in the future of cardiac medicine through planned gifts, including bequests, life income arrangements such as gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts, gifts of life insurance and other deferred giving options. For more information, contact Paul.Maffey@Colostate.edu.
