The James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital large animal service provides individual animal and herd health care to horses, cattle, llamas, pigs, sheep, goats, and other types of livestock. Medical care of large animals is divided into three sections: The Equine Hospital, Agricultural Animal Medicine and Surgery, and Integrated Livestock Managment. Our large animal practioners have access to state-of-the-art equipment and use the latest in veterinary techniques to pinpoint problems and effectively treat our large animal patients. Large animal emergency services are available at all times.
