Ideal for all horse owners, stable managers, and equine professionals, this free interactive seminar will provide up-to-date information on first aid and wound care. Participants will learn about advanced wound care dressings along with techniques for initial wound treatment and anatomical areas of specific concern in the horse.

This seminar is the first in a series about veterinary care for equines that will be offered by CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital equine veterinarians and sponsored by Purina Mills, LLC. CSU’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital supports all equine athletes and companions by providing outstanding, comprehensive veterinary care; education for current and future veterinarians, horse owners and other equine professionals; and cutting-edge research to treat today’s equine concerns and lead to tomorrow’s cures.
Hendrickson is a Professor of Equine Surgery and Lameness in the Department of Clinical Sciences. He sees clients on a limited basis at the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
This seminar is part of an ongoing series of horse owner education seminars that will be offered by the faculty of the Colorado State University Equine Hospital.
