Gifts directed to the Center for Comparative and Integrative Pain Medicine help spread the word on the importance of recognizing and treating pain in our animal friends. Funds supporting the Center also allow us to expore ways to successfully eliminate pain and suffering, as we explore both drug- and non-drug therapeutics. As with our natural healing research, we only study animals with naturally occurring disease; we do not induce pain to study pain.
